In the introduction to the Bowspring, we will learn how to turn on our buns in an empowering way that invites the lower back to soften and whole body to heal. Most people aren’t engaging their ‘behinds’ in a way that supports optimal health of the spine. Because of this lack of engagement it dumps weight disproportionately in the body and pain and a feeling of heaviness result.

This is a class series for anyone who is new to the Bowspring method. This is the most basic kata (sequence) with a strong focus on the fundamental poses of Bowspring method. In these classes, the five subsystems and ten key areas of the Bowspring are explored through each of our practices.
We meet two times each week, Tuesdays and Thursdays for a five weeks over Zoom video conferencing. If you are not able to make the class times, than you will be sent the recording. Please note, the times are in Mountain Standard Time.
You can expect slow movement, however, prepare yourself to be challenged in the best way possible!
